South by Southwest (SXSW) is an interactive festival of film and music that takes place every spring in Austin, TX. I came up with the idea to cover it for two reasons. The first reason being that emcees Warren S. Britt and Illustrate both attended for the first time this year and it was a great chance to hear what the experience was like for them.

North Carolina was an untapped market, but is currently a flourishing area with talented hip-hop acts.
